Skydiving?
It's the high-risk sport for adreleine junkies. In Dubai, you can try out both indoor and outdoor skydiving. Go outdoor skydiving if you want to experience the real thing, just like the people you see on TV and in Instagram videos. When you go outdoor skydiving, all safety precautions are taken and you are taken up to a considerable height (by an aircraft) before making your jump. Quite often, first-timers opt for tandem skydiving, in which they are securely strapped to an experienced instructor. (solo pumping is only permitted to those who have the licence)
Though the other concept (Indoor skydiving) is a relatively new idea, it is becoming more and more popular worldwide. A vertical tunnel used in indoor skydiving simulates free fall conditions using a variety of simulations. Since there is no risk involved, this type of skydiving is ideal for people who are trying out skydiving for the first time. And guess what, it costs way too lesser than the outdoor one.
Skydiving in Dubai
Dubai offers two unique locations for skydiving: the Palm drop zone and the Desert Campus drop zone. Both these zones are managed by one single company. During your stay at one of the sea view apartments Dubai the likes of Avani Palm View Dubai, you can surely try out this experience individually or with a group.
Note- if you have a group of friends who would love to try out skydiving, you have the chance to enjoy discounts.
The pre requisites
The first requirement to try out skydiving is to have the passion and the risk-taking nature. This is an activity which should be done with confidence and will. Since it's 100% certain that the operating companies do follow the standard security measures, you don't have to worry on safety at all. Secondly, you should be more than 18 years of old, and should be in a considerably good health status. Those who have high blood pressure should refrain from doing this activity, and of course, those who are pregnant. There is also a BMI requisite. These will be strictly considered for outdoor skydiving.
However, the indoor skydiving activity can have some flexible rules. In Dubai, only the kids below 12 can't try out indoor skydiving.
